Join us for an information session about our Fall and Winter Youth Woodworking Programs at Saratoga Joinery!

In today's digital world, there's something powerful about watching your child transform raw wood into something beautiful and functional—entirely through their own skill and creativity. Our youth programs offer more than just woodworking; they build confidence, problem-solving skills, patience, and the deep satisfaction that comes from creating something lasting.

We will offer programming for two age groups this fall and winter: 8-11 and 12-14.

What to Expect at Our Info Session:

• Tour our fully-equipped workshop space
• Meet our experienced instructors who specialize in youth education
• Learn about our hands-on curriculum and safety protocols for each program
• Ask questions and connect with other parents
• See examples of student work and projects

12-14 Year Old Program Details:

Designed for ages 12-14, your child will build confidence and hands-on skills while creating beautiful projects like custom shelves, benches, and tables during Thursday evening classes. Each project will take 4-6 sessions to complete.

Program Details:

• Ages: 12-14 years old. Children attend independently.
• Schedule: Thursday evenings, 5:30-7:30 PM
• Duration: Fall and winter months with 3 distinct project classes
• Class Size: 6 kids per project.
• Price: $225 per project or $650 for all three.
  *Classes can be taken independently or bundled as one program.

Exciting Projects Your Child Will Create:

• October: Wall hanging shelf and hand-turned pen.
• November & December: Custom sitting bench
• February & March: Small table they'll treasure for years

8-11 Year Old Program Details

Perfect for curious minds ages 8-11, our monthly classes offer the perfect introduction to woodworking in a safe, supportive environment. Watch your child's eyes light up as they transform simple wood into treasures they'll proudly display at home—all while developing focus, problem-solving skills, and the joy of creating something with their own hands.

Class Details:

• Ages: 8-12 years old. Children attend with adult.
• Schedule: First Saturday of each month, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Duration: Monthly from October to June
• Class Size: Small groups of 3-6 kids for personalized attention
• Price: $65 per class.
