Spring Break: 8 x 10 Picture Frame for Teens

This class is for ages 14-18 only. Parents/guardians of minors must come in to meet with the teacher upon drop off to be given a brief class overview and sign a waiver.
In this hands-on woodworking class, you'll embark on the journey of creating your own custom picture frame from scratch. Taught by Karen Cavotta, Engineering and Technology teacher at Saratoga Springs High School, students will learn essential woodworking techniques such as measuring, cutting and joining pieces of wood. Throughout the session, you'll handle a variety of tools and materials, gaining confidence and skill in their use. By the end of the class, not only will you have crafted a beautiful, personalized picture frame, but you'll also take home new knowledge and a sense of accomplishment. This workshop is perfect for beginners and hobbyists eager to explore the art of woodworking.
This class takes place over two 2-hour sessions. Please ensure both dates work for you.
