Safety Training - Novice: Milling
Safety and education are two of our top priorities at Saratoga Joinery. All members must take our in-house Safety Training prior to operating any of our machines. This ensures a safe shop and provides high-quality training at no cost to our members.

We want members of all experience levels at Saratoga Joinery. In order to accommodate everyone, we offer Novice and Advanced tracks of our Safety Training. This is the Novice training on Milling.

This training is paced for beginners who need a more in-depth education on the machines. The session entails a detailed overview of each machine followed by a supervised practical component. There are four two-hour novice courses available. Members are only required to take the classes that cover the machines they plan to use.

Machines covered:

  • Jointer
  • Planer
  • 18" Bandsaw

Please review Saratoga Joinery's Shop Safety Guidelines prior to coming to this class and dress accordingly.

This class is for members only.
